We took a day drive to the booming metropolis that is Rio Vista a few weeks ago. It is actually the spot in the delta that the two lost whales "Delta" and "Dawn" made it to earlier this year. It is a quaint little spot, and it has a neat little campground that would be fun to camp at right on the delta. And thats about it. We just wanted to go for a random drive, so we took some of the roads that go along the delta. It was interesting. There are some really cool old mansions...that I didn't get any pictures of.

We got to take 2 ferry rides. The guy who runs the ferry has one of the most fun jobs I can think of. He gets to cross one 50 yard stretch of the river about 20,000 times each day.
We were the first car on, so we got the best view:
What do you do in Rio Vista? Well - we found the local park and went crazy with the swings! Ben liked the swings almost as much as chewing on his hand:
